How We Can Help You

Accessing the Loaves and Fishes Food Bank is very easy. New clients can register at any one of our food bank locations and receive food right away. We require that clients, age 16 and older provide government identification. Identification is required at every food bank visit. For example, most of our clients use their Care Card when registering and for subsequent visits to the food bank. Our registration process is very quick, we ask for basic information such as; name, address, and date of birth. We do not require financial information, or income information. A single adult, 16 years of age an older can only register themselves. For example a couple, without children, are registered as single adults and can only register themselves and pick up their own food.  However, an adult, with a spouse or partner and children under 16 years can register each person in the family who will receive the food. The client registering the family will have to provide identification for each member of the family. Clients can visit the food bank once a week.

When a child reaches 16 years of age, they are registered as single adults. Each client is required to attend the food bank to receive food. We do not provide pick-ups for other clients and we do not provide delivery. Only under extreme circumstances, such as medical reasons or emergencies will we provide pick-ups. The client requiring the pick up must contact the food bank in advance.

Please contact the food bank if you require more information.
